“L is for life. I mean, what is life without love?
O is for Oh wow.
V is for this very surprising turn of events, which I am still fine with by the way.
Eeeeeee is for how extremely normal I find it that you two are together.”
Name that TV show!
If you guessed “Friends,” we should probably be best friends. Actually, if you’re reading this then we probably are best friends already 😉
Some friends and I competed (and yes this was a very hard core competition!) in our first “Friends” trivia at Joe’s bar recently, and we had soo much fun! I feel like I can pretty much relate any real life situation to a Friends episode and I always find myself doing just that when I’m with friends who aren’t as familiar with the show. “Oh my gosh this reminds me of that Friends episode where…..” Followed by blank stares from the crowd… Anyway, it was fun to be surrounded by other “Friends” Fanatics who got alllll the Friends jokes. The “Love” quote I posted at the beginning was actually the final round question (Name what “Love” stands for in Ross’s toast in the episode, The one where Ross is fine.) Our team of 4 came up with all 4 correct answers, and I think this round is what put us into 3rd place at the end! We ended up winning some Clayton Anderson tickets and a $100 gift card to Joe’s bar! Pretty fun Thursday night, I’d say. Annnnd you know what this kind of winning calls for? A celebration. With my favorite food in the world– pizza. <3 It’s really hard to say what my favorite kind of pizza is because I’ve always thought of pizza as having many different genres. Frozen, Deep Dish, Late Night, Wood-fired-oven-baked, Home-made, etc. Now, I don’t discriminate when it comes to pizza, but I think I’ve found a favorite wood-fired oven pizza, and that’s at Stella Barra.
Prosciutto & Egg pizza, you speak to my heart. Yep, I could eat this pizza every weekend and never get sick of it. If you haven’t been, you should put it on your list! And what better way to round off a night of pizza-indulging than with a cookie the size of your face?! Stella Barra and Summer House make these monster sized cookies that are To. Die. For. Soft, chewy, ooey-gooey, chocolatey, melt-in-your-mouth pure bliss. Yum. I can’t seem to ever leave that place without getting a cookie.
Hint: If you ask them to, they’ll even serve it to you warmed up on a plate with a scoop of ice cream.
What other pizza places do I need to check out in Chicago? I’d love to hear some of your favorites!
